Difference between symmetric and asymmetric deposits?

  • Symmetric deposits involve adding equal values of RUNE and another asset, which requires no adjustment by the pool. Asymmetric deposits involve adding only one type of asset, which is rebalanced to a 50/50 ratio of RUNE and the asset, potentially incurring fees and slippage.
